
Iason G. Skouzos
Founder
Iason Skouzos, the founder of the firm, is a practicing advocate, qualified to plead before the highest Greek courts. He was born in Piraeus in 1929. He has a law degree from the Athens Law School and an economics degree from the Economic University of Athens (A.S.O.E.E.).
He served as a tax officer in the Ministry of Finance between 1958-1971. In 1971 he resigned from the public sector in order to practice law. Since 1971 he has been dealing with tax and commercial cases up to the level of the Council of the State. He has worked as a legal counsel of Halyvourgiki S.A. and other big corporations and dealt with important tax and commercial cases. Among the cases that he has dealt with, the most important is the historical case of the Royal Estate, for which he defended against the tax claims of the Greek State in relation to the estate of Constantine, the former King of Greece, a case that involved issues dating back to the formation of the modern Greek Republic.
